How to read crypto listings and delistings

A listing is the moment an exchange opens trading in a coin: on spot (buying the coin itself), as a perpetual or delivery futures contract, or as a margin pair you can borrow against. A delisting is the reverse — the exchange stops trading the coin on that market, cancels open orders and, for spot, usually keeps withdrawals open for a few weeks.

Every event here goes through up to three stages. The notice is the official announcement with the planned time; effective is when trading actually starts or stops; seen live means our hourly snapshot of the exchange API confirms that the coin appeared or disappeared. Events that show up in market data without any notice are marked as detected — silent listings of futures contracts and margin pairs are common.

We track coins, not single pairs: when an exchange removes XYZ/BTC but keeps XYZ/USDT, the coin still trades and no delisting is recorded. A coin counts as delisted on a market only when its last pair there is gone.

Delisting rarely comes out of nowhere. Binance puts a Monitoring tag on coins it reviews; Bybit, KuCoin, MEXC, Gate and HTX use ST (special treatment) labels. Such coins are flagged here and on the coin page — one exchange is enough to mark the coin as at risk. Binance Seed only means a young, volatile project.

Listings on large exchanges often move prices in the first hours, delisting notices usually push prices down while withdrawals stay open. The “since event” column shows how the coin price changed after the event was recorded, so you can compare the reaction across exchanges.

Listings and delistings — questions

Which exchanges are tracked?
10 centralized exchanges: Binance, Bybit, OKX, Bitget, Gate, KuCoin, MEXC, HTX, Crypto.com Exchange and BingX — spot, futures, cross and isolated margin.
How fast do new listings appear?
Official announcements and exchange market data are checked every hour, so an announced listing usually appears here within an hour of the notice, often days before trading starts.
What is the difference between announced, confirmed and detected?
Announced — the exchange published a notice. Confirmed — the notice came true and our market data saw the coin appear or disappear. Detected — market data shows the change, but no notice was found.
What happens to my coins after a delisting?
Trading stops and open orders are cancelled. On spot, exchanges usually keep withdrawals open for several weeks — read the official notice for the exact deadline. Futures positions are closed at the settlement price.
What do Monitoring and ST tags mean?
They are warning labels: the exchange reviews the coin (liquidity, team activity, security) and may delist it. Coins with such a label are marked as at risk of delisting on this page and on the coin page.
Can I get notified?
Yes — sign in and subscribe to an exchange, a market, listings or delistings, one coin or the coins you follow; notifications come by email or Telegram.
