How to read the RSI map
What RSI measures
The Relative Strength Index compares recent price moves on a 0–100 scale. We use Wilder’s 14-period method on closed regular-session candles (Yahoo Finance).
Why 30 and 70 matter
Below 30 signals unusually weak momentum; above 70 signals unusually strong momentum. Treat both as context, not an instruction to buy or sell.
Compare timeframes
An ETF tracks its index, so a broad-market fund’s RSI stays close to the index. Divergences are the signal: sector and country funds show where money is rotating.
