1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let the site recognise your device and remember your session or preferences. Cookies can be temporary (session cookies) or persistent.
Similar technologies, such as browser local storage, serve comparable purposes.
2. Cookies we use
SignalTrack uses only the cookies needed to run the Platform and remember your settings:
- Session cookie — keeps you signed in and maintains your session (essential);
- XSRF-TOKEN — protects forms against cross-site request forgery (essential, security);
- Remember-me cookie — keeps you signed in between visits if you chose so (functional);
- preferred_locale — remembers the interface language you selected (functional, 1 year);
- Local storage entry for the colour theme (light/dark) you selected (functional).
3. Third-party cookies
We do not use advertising, marketing or cross-site tracking cookies. Our hosting and error-monitoring providers may process technical data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver and secure the Platform, but they do not place advertising cookies.
4. Managing cookies
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and notify you when a cookie is set. Blocking essential cookies will prevent signing in and some features from working.
5. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the technologies we use or legal requirements change. The updated version takes effect when published on the Platform.
