How to read the RSI map

01

What RSI measures

The Relative Strength Index compares recent price moves on a 0–100 scale. We use Wilder’s 14-period method on closed index candles (Yahoo Finance); 4h candles are built from hourly ones in UTC.

02

Why 30 and 70 matter

Below 30 signals unusually weak momentum; above 70 signals unusually strong momentum. Treat both as context, not an instruction to buy or sell.

03

Compare timeframes

Each index trades in its own exchange hours, so intraday RSI of Asian and US indices refers to different moments. Daily and weekly RSI are the fair comparison.
